Heating

For woodstoves, fireplaces & inserts. Helps prevent chimney fires. 1. Reduces and treats dangerous creosote in your chimney. 2. Reduces new creosote build-up, making your next fire safer. Treats and reduces creosote build-up in your chimney. Easy to use. Burns like a firelog. Dual action formula. Why use CSL? Creosote = higher danger. Reduced draft. Lower efficiency. Poor combustion. More wood needed. More pollution and higher costs. Heavy creosote build-up reduces the draft of the flue, which means you need to burn more wood to get the same heat out of your stove. A thick layer of creosote also acts like an insulation and lets less heat through the flue pipe into the room. After CSL. Clean flue. Good draft. Higher efficiency. Better combustion. Less wood needed. Less pollution and lower costs. A clean flue has a better draft, meaning you actually need to burn less wood to get the same heating results. This, in turn, saves you money and spares the air. The dual action formula fights dangerous creosote accumulation. For two months after CSL treatment, more than 50% of new creosote build-up is prevented in your flue pipe. CSL action against creosote reduced odors that linger during the off season. CSL is safe and easy. CSL is environmentally friendly. How CSL Works: 1. Making a wood fire prior to using CSL will heat the tar on your chimney wall and improve your draft. 2. While CSL burns like a regular firelog, its active minerals are released and will start to dry out and loosen dangerous creosote deposits in your chimney flue. 3. Loosened creosote particles will rise up with the smoke. Some may also fall harmlessly back down your chimney or flue, making your next fire safer. (CSL burns approximately 90 minutes). 4. After 1 week most of the treatment is done. The CSL additives create a natural coating that protect your flue against new build-up. Chimney Safety Institute of America accepted product. When used according to the manufacturer's instructions, this product is accepted by the Chimney Safety Institute of America. CSL Compatibility: Wood burning appliances. Fireplaces, woodstoves, fireplace inserts, gas starter fireplaces, wood/coal stoves, wood/oil mixed boilers and wood furnaces. Flue Compatibility: All flue pipes. Masonry flues. Catalytic converters. Use CSL at start and middle of season. Continuous Fire: 1 CSL every 2 months. Use CSL regularly to avoid high creosote build up. Small Fireplace/Flue: Use 1 CSL. Use CSL at least every 60 fires. Large Fireplace/Flue: Use 2 CSLs at the same time. To render creosote brittle, and aid mechanical cleaning in case of heavy creosote build-up.Easy to use|Eco- friendly
