Description
The Goodman GME81005CN is a multi-speed gas furnace. It uses a dual-diameter tubular heat exchanger. It is housed in a fully-insulated heavy-gauge steel cabinet with a durable baked-enamel finish. A multi-speed energy-efficient circulator (ECM) motor operates gently to adjust to temperature demands.
This Goodman gas furnace is a two-stage, multi-speed, multi-position heater. It uses a durable 115V Silicon Nitride igniter to maintain a comfortable temperature in the home. This Goodman gas furnace has a heating capacity of 100,000 BTU.
This heater comes from the GME8 line of Goodman gas furnaces. This collection of Goodman gas furnaces has up to 80% AFUE (annual fuel utilization efficiency) rating. Many standard furnaces feature 60% AFUE, which means that this system can contribute to significant energy savings.
This multi-position Goodman gas heater offers many installation options. It can be installed in upflow or horizontal left or right positions. This model features a low constant fan to improve the efficiency of air circulation in the home and a self-diagnosing control board that saves the last five diagnostic codes in memory.
